The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), through Circular No. IBBI/IIRP/98/2026 dated 2 June 2026, has specified standardized forms for use under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Personal Guarantors to Corporate Debtors) Regulations, 2019, as amended in 2026. Exercising powers under Sections 196 and 240 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, the Board has notified three mandatory formats: Form A for written consent by an Insolvency Professional to act as Resolution Professional, Form B for submission of claims with supporting proof by creditors, and Form C for appointment of a proxy to attend and vote at meetings of creditors. The forms seek to enhance uniformity, transparency, and procedural efficiency in insolvency resolution processes involving personal guarantors to corporate debtors. The circular provides detailed disclosure requirements regarding eligibility, claims, security interests, voting rights, and creditor representation, thereby strengthening compliance and streamlining administration of personal guarantor insolvency proceedings.

Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Personal Guarantors to Corporate Debtors) Regulations, 2019 (IRP for PG to CD Regulations), as amended by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Personal Guarantors to Corporate Debtors) (Amendment) Regulations, 2026 specify various forms relating to the process to be notified by Board through circular.

2. Accordingly, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 196 of the Code read with the IRP for PG to CD Regulations, the following formats are hereby specified:
