The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has come across certain news reports circulating in sections of the media/ social media regarding the proposal moved by the Government for making a new authority to conduct CA Examinations along with certain other professional examinations. The aforesaid News Item has created widespread confusion, chaos and panic amongst the students pursuing the course and preparing for the upcoming May examinations.
ICAI has taken note of the matter and it is clarified that, the information presented in the said news clip is factually incorrect and not supported by any official confirmation from the Ministry concerned.
In view of the above, students and stakeholders are advised not to be influenced by such unverified reports. Students are especially encouraged to remain focused on their preparation for the upcoming CA examinations scheduled to be held in May.
