ANF 5A of Aayat Niryat Forms of FTP 2015-20 has been amended to include guidelines for designating/certifying a Common Service Provider by DGFT, Department of Commerce or State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation in a Town of Export Excellence under Para 5.02 (b) FTP 2015-20.
Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS)- Additions/amendments in Table 2 [containing ITC (HS) code wise list of products with reward rates] of Appendix 3B. A-Additions in Table-The following 2901 lines are added to the MEIS Schedule with immediate effect:
(i) M/s. Melt Enterprises Ltd., UK is recognized as Pre-Shipment inspection Agency in terms of Para 2.55 (d) of HBP 2015-20 in Appendix 2G. (ii) The Details of authorized instruments for inspection in respect of M/s. Asia Inspection Agency Co. Ltd., Thailand is re-notified.
Notification of procedure to be followed in cases of incorrectly issued simultaneous benefits of Zero Duty EPCG and SHIS in FTP 2009-14 by the Director General of Foreign Trade in exercise of powers conferred under Para 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020
The RBI Circulars from 22.07.2013 to 14.02.2013 had not provided provisions to claim replenishment of gold in respect of export of Gems and jewellery products manufactured from gold, by participation in the exhibitions abroad or claiming gold in cases where gold was booked by payment of minimum 20% with Nominated Agency, subject to adjustment at time of actual sale.
Hand Book of Procedures 2015-2020 will also cover minimum value addition for export of Silver/ Platinum jewellery and articles thereof, which were inadvertently left out earlier, These amendments will be applicable with effect from 01.04.2015
Procedure for Special Advance Authorisation scheme for export of Articles of Apparel and Clothing Accessories under Chapter 61 and 62 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import has been specified to come into effect from 1st September 2016.
MEIS rate for Onion is notified. It would be effective for exports made upto 31.12.2016. MEIS Rate on Onions Fresh or Chilled vide HS Code 07031010 is 5%.
