In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of section 129A of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Board hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 39/2005-Customs (N.T.), dated the 13th May, 2005 namely.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11C of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs that the whole of duty of excise leviable under the said Act on such goods as described above but for the said practice, shall not be required to be paid for the period detailed in Column 2 above, subject to fulfillment of conditions prescribed in respect of such goods on which the said duty of excise was not being levied during the aforesaid period in accordance with the said practice:

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of section 129A of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Board hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 39/2005-Customs (N.T.), dated the 13th May, 2005, for the specific purpose of reviewing the following Orders-In-Original, namely.
The principal notification No. 19/2004-CE(NT), dated the 6th September, 2004 was published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 570(E) dated the 6th September, 2004 and subsequently amended by notification No.17/2007-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 8th March, 2007 vide number G.S.R. 182(E), dated the 8th March, 2007.
The Principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide Notification No.36/2001 – Customs (N.T.), dated, the 3rd August, 2001 (S.O.748 (E), dated, the 3rd August, 2001) and was last amended vide Notification No. 90/2007-Customs (N.T.), dated, the 31st August,2007 (S.O.1486(E) dated 31st August,2007).
