IBBI amends the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons) Regulations, 2016 and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Liquidation Process) Regulations, 2016
The practice of appointing more than one auditor to conduct the audit of large entities is followed for a longtime, sometimes voluntarily by the shareholders or sometimes due to the requirements of laws or regulations.
In order to facilitate the sanction of refunds, the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) has decided to extend the Refund Fortnight and keep open all the Customs field formations on 29.03.2018, 30.03.2018 and 31.03.2018 even though these are holidays/ non-working days. Necessary administrative instructions have been issued in this regard.
Section 132 of Companies Act, 2013 provided for the creation of National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA), and one post of Chairperson, three posts of full-time members and one post of Secretary of NFRA. Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister recently approved the same while specifying the details such as pay scale and other terms and conditions vis-à-vis the posts of NFRA Chairman, full-time members and Secretary.

EPFO has launched the pensioner’s portal https://mis.epfindia.gov.in/PensionPaymentEnquiry. The pensioner’s portal is recently launched service, available at EPFO website by which all EPFO pensioners may get the details of pension related information like Pension payment order number, Pensioner’s Payment Order details, Pensioner’s passbook information & other related information such as date of credit of pension, submission of pensioner’s life certificate etc.
