Several banks have approached RBI to clarify the amount of capital funds that can be raised overseas. It is clarified that eligible amount for purpose of issue of PDIs in foreign currency would mean the higher of (a) 1.5% of Risk Weighted Assets (RWAs) and (b) Total Additional Tier 1 capital as on March 31 of the previous financial year.
In view of the impending cessation of LIBOR as a benchmark rate, it has been decided to permit AD banks to use any other widely accepted/Alternative reference rate in the currency concerned for such transactions.
Loan transfers are resorted to by lending institutions for multitude of reasons ranging from liquidity management, rebalancing their exposures or strategic sales. A robust secondary market in loans can be an important mechanism for management of credit exposures by lending institutions and also create additional avenues for raising liquidity. It is therefore necessary to lay down a comprehensive, self-contained set of regulatory guidelines governing transfer of loan exposures.
Section 19 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (As Applicable to Co-operative Societies) (BR Act, 1949 (AACS)) stipulates that no co- operative bank shall hold shares in any other co-operative society except to such extent and subject to such conditions as the Reserve Bank of India (Reserve Bank) may specify in that behalf. However, nothing contained in the section applies to –

RBI and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announce a project to link their respective fast payment systems viz. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and PayNow. The linkage is targeted for operationalisation by July 2022.
A detailed procedure for processing of applications under the aforementioned Section for use of Aadhar authentication services by entities other than banking companies has been provided by the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance vide their circular dated May 9, 2019.
