Over a span of two weeks, crude oil price has corrected by more than 12%, from USD 86 a barrel to a two-month low level of USD 75.6 a barrel (Brent). As a result, the Indian rupee has strengthened to a three-week high of 73.15 against the dollar and the yield on 10-year government bond has fallen to a nearly two-month low level of 7.87%.
