Notification No. 155/2005, Dated 27-5-2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vii) of clause (15) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies Tax Free Municipal Bonds for an amount of rupees one hundred crores only to be issued by “Karnataka Water and Sanitation Pooled Fund Trust, Karnataka” during the financial year 2005-2006 for the purpose of the said sub-clause:

Provided that the benefit under the said sub-clause shall be admissible only if the holder of such bonds registers his or her name and the holding with the said Trust.
