It is notified for general information that the approval under section 10(23G) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, accorded to Rajasthan State Electricity Board, Vidyut Bhawan, R. C. Dave Marg, Jaipur-302 005, for its Suratgarh Thermal Power Stations (Units I and II Phase I and Units I and II of Phase II) vide Notification No. 10999, dated 13th July, 1999, and 11110, dated 25th October, 1999, stand transferred to Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (Genco) with effect from 19th July, 2000, subject to condition that Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (Genco) will comply with all the conditions stipulated for the Rajasthan State Electricity Board in the aforesaid notifications.
