It is notified for general information that the approval under section 10(23G) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, accorded to Rajasthan State Electricity Board, Vidyut Bhawan, R.C. Dave Marg, Jaipur-302005, for its Suratgarh Thermal Power Stations (Units I & II of Phase I and Units I & II of Phase II) vide Notification No. 10999, dt. 13th July, 1999 [published at (1999) 154 CTR (St) 91] and 11110 dated 25th October, 1999 [published at (1999) 157 CTR (St) 2] stand transferred to M/s Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (Genco) with effect from 19th July, 2000 subject to condition that M/s Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (Genco) will comply with all the conditions stipulated for Rajasthan State Electricity Board in the aforesaid notifications.
