Jaipur Firm surrenders Rs.7.35 crore for taxation

A handicraft, jewellery and carpet export firm here today surrendered an undisclosed income of Rs 7.35 crore for taxation following survey by the Income Tax department, IT sources said.

“The department conducted survey at two premises of the firm yesterday during which the officials recovered a huge undisclosed stock of handicraft items. Following the survey, the firm surrendered Rs 7.35 crore for taxation,” they said.

The officials are examining papers recovered during the survey.
