The Income Tax Office, Civic Centre, Delhi known as “Pratyaksh Kar Bhawan” is inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Finance Minister Sh. Pranab Mukherjee on 30th of May 2012 at 11:15 AM. The occasion is also graced by Sh. Namo Narain Meena, Minister of state (Expenditure, Banking & Insurance), Ms Meera Aggarwal, Mayor, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, Sh. R.S. Gujral, Finance & Revenue secretary and other dignitaries.

SALIENT FEATURES OF INCOME TAX PORTION IN CIVIC CENTRE

> The built up area and carpet area in the said building are approximately 52,000 sq. meters and 29,000 sq. meters respectively (Approx).

> There is a Service Block of approximately 2750 sq. meter, 1110 Car parking slots (approximately 39,000 sq. meter space).

> This space is made up of one partitioned 28 storeyed Tower Block (E) and 2 six Storyed Block (B&D)with 3 level basement parking having escalators, Service and passenger elevators and DG Sets for 100% power back up.
