Filing of Income Tax returns is a legal obligation of every Trust whose total income for the previous year has exceeded the maximum amount that is not chargeable for income tax under the provisions of the I.T Act, 1961.
For persons including companies required to furnish return under section 139(4A) or section 139(4B) or section 139(4C) or section 139(4D) have to furnish Income Tax Return in ITR 7 and Format of the same for A.Y. 2011-12 is as give below:-

i had a same problem. Infact i complained on email id of official incometax site but there was no reply/response. What i did is, converted the pdf ITR7 Acknowledgement of AY 2010-11 into word and edited the year as ‘AY 2011-12’.
This was accepted by IT dept too.
