Office Order No. 78/2023 – Dated the 24th May, 2023
With the approval of Competent Authority, the following transfer and posting in the grade of Deputy/ Assistant Commissioner of Indirect Taxes and Customs is hereby ordered with immediate effect and until further orders: –
2. The officers mentioned above shall be relieved latest by 02nd June, 2023 and must join at their new place of posting on or before 15th June, 2023. No representation whatsoever shall be entertained before they join at the new place of posting.
3. By and large, the officers have been posted to GST/CX Zones only. The placement in certain GST/Customs CC Zones is done by including combined vacancy position of some of the Customs (P) Accordingly, the officers posted in following CC Zones are required to be shared with Customs (P) Commissionerate (mentioned against these CC Zones) apart from regular sharing with Customs CC Zones in proportion to the vacancies in GST/ Customs/ & Customs (P) Zones. For this purpose, Pr. CC/CC of respective Customs (Preventive) Zones will be part of Committee of Pr. Chief Commissioners/Chief Commissioners in terms of Para 3.2 of Transfer / Placement Guidelines, 2018
(i) Delhi GST- Delhi Customs Zone, Delhi Customs (P) Commissionerate and CCO of Delhi CC (P) Zone.
(ii) Jaipur GST Zone-Jodhpur Customs (P) under Delhi Customs (P) Zone.
(iii) Chandigarh GST Zone-Amritsar & Ludhiana Customs (P) Commissionerate under Delhi Customs (P) Zone.
(iv) Lucknow GST Zone-Lucknow Customs (P) Commissionerate under Patna Customs (P) Zone.
(v) Ranchi GST Zone — Patna Customs (P) Zone Commissionerate and CCO of Patna Customs (P) Zone.
(vi) Chennai GST Zone-Chennai Customs Zone, Trichy Customs (P) Zone & CCO of Trichy Customs (P) Zone.
4. The Pr. Chief Commissioners/Pr. Directors General/ Chief Commissioners/ Directors General concerned shall send the compliance report regarding relieving and joining of the above officers to the Board (with a copy endorsed to ADG (HRM-I1), DGHRD) by 26.06.2023.
5. All the representations received till date regarding transfer and posting in the grades of Deputy/ Assistant Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes stand disposed of.
