MAHARASHTRA STATE TAX ON PROFESSIONS, TRADES, CALLINGS AND EMPLOYMENTS ACT, 1975.
No. DC(A&R)/PT -2009/31/ADM-(6)8,—In exercise of the powers sub-section (1) of section 12 of the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1975 (Mah. XVI of 1975), the Commissioner of Profession Tax, Maharashtra State, Mumbai hereby specifies the entire area comprised within the State or, as the case may be the local areas, specified in column (4) of the SCHEDULE appended hereto, to be the areas over which the authorities mentioned in column (2) holding for the time being the respective posts against the said areas, shall have jurisdiction.
