Sales Tax Bar Association  & Anr. Vs. Union Of India & Ors. (Delhi High Court)

1. The learned Additional Solicitor General (ASG) of India, who is to appear on behalf of the Respondents, is stated to be indisposed. At request, list on 30th July 2019.

2. In the meanwhile, the Respondent shall file a point wise response to the written note of submissions of the Petitioner filed on 5th December 2018.

3. The Court also requests the learned ASG to arrange a meeting in her chamber, at least one week prior to the next date of hearing, of the lawyers appearing on behalf of the Petitioner with the Senior Vice President Of the GSTN and an officer of the level of Additional Secretary in the Department concerned, so that there could be a meaningful interaction with a view to mitigating/ eliminating the outstanding issues.

4. Dasti. The Registry will communicate this order forthwith to the learned ASG.
