Meghalaya VAT rate change for Goods falling under Schedule II and liable to tax at 4 Percent

Effective 07 December, 2010, the rate of VAT in Meghalaya has been enhanced, as mentioned below:

Goods falling under Schedule II and liable to tax at 4%

Rate up to 6 December, 2010 – 4%

Rate with effect from 7 December, 2010 – 5%
