1 Let urgent Notice be issued to the respondents, returnable on 16th February 2021. The respondents shall be served directly through Email today itself. Direct service today is permitted.
2 This is one more matter amongst many other matters that have come up before us over a period of time wherein serious allegations of threats, pressure, coercion, etc. have been levelled against the respondents Nos.3, 4 and 5 respectively. It is pointed out by Dr. Poddar, the learned counsel appearing for the writ applicants that the harassment was to such an extent that the writ applicant No.2 attempted to commit suicide. In many complaints of the similar nature, the respondents Nos.4 and 5 herein have been asked to appear before this Court tomorrow through video conferencing. In connection with this matter also, we shall put few questions to the respondents Nos.3, 4 and 5 appear before this Court through Video Conferencing tomorrow i.e. on 16th February 2021.
3 We could have asked Dr. Poddar to serve one copy of his entire paper book at the earliest to Mr. Devang Vyas, the learned Additional Solicitor General of India. But we are informed that he has been hospitalized. In such circumstances, Dr. Poddar shall serve one copy of the entire paper book to Mr. Parth Divyeshvar, the learned Standing Counsel, who ordinarily appears along with Mr. Vyas. respectively tomorrow.
