Notification No. 20/2000-Central Excise

        In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57A of the Central Excise Act, 1944,  the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) number 58/97-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 30th August, 1997 published in the Official Gazette vide number G.S.R. 500 (E), dated the 30th August, 1997, on and from the 1st day of April, 2000.
