NOTIFICATION

No. 43/2000-C.E. (N.T.), dated 22-6-2000. [effective from 23-6-2000]

Assessable value-Section 4A of CEA, 1944- aerated waters-abatement raised-Notification No 9/2000-CE (NT) amended

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2), of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 9/2000-Central Excise (NT) dated the 1st March, 2000, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial No. 23, for the entry in column (4), the entry “55%” shall be substituted.

1. This notification shall come into force on and from the 23rd day of June, 2000.
