On 15th February 2006, the Director General of Foreign Trade issued Public Notice No. 88 (RE-2005)/2004-2009, amending the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The notice introduced a new category of products eligible for benefits under the Vishesh Krishi Upaj Yojana for exports from 1st April 2005. The new entries pertain to oleoresins, specifically detailing several spice oleoresins under Chapter 33 of the ITC (HS) Classification. The amendments include fennugreek, ginger, turmeric, celery seed, nutmeg, clove, capsicum, coriander, cumin, fennel oleoresins, and others not specified elsewhere. These items, with specified ITC (HS) codes, are now eligible for export incentives under the scheme, which is aimed at promoting the export of agricultural products.

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I):
1. In Appendix 37A after existing entry at Sr.No.7 with the following details
