PUBLIC NOTICE No. 68 (RE-01)/1997-2002

NEW DELHI, the  8th February, 2002

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II Section 3, Sub section (ii) vide S.O. No.283(E) dated 31.03.1997, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Handbook (Vol 1).(RE-01), 1997-2002.

 1)   The following are notified as Agri Export Zones and added in the table at Appendix 59 pertaining to “Agri Export Zone”. These zones shall cover the districts specified in the table below.

5 Grape and Grapewine Maharashtra Nasik, Sangli, Pune, Sholapur, Satara and Ahmednagar

 

2. The following amendments are made in AEZ already notifiedat S.No.1 and 3 under Public notice no. 41(RE-2001)/97-2002 dated 8.10.2001:-

1. Pineapple West Bengal Darjeeling, Uttar Dinajpur, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri

 

3. Lychees Uttranchal Udhamsingh Nagar, Nainital and Dehradun.
