The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), through Public Notice No. 56 (RE-03)/2002-2007 dated March 10, 2004, introduced amendments to Public Notice No. 54 (dated February 28, 2004) under the Export and Import Policy (2002-2007). Key changes include the addition of serial numbers 347, 458, 459, and 560 under the Product Group Engineering to the specified list. Additionally, serial number 345 in the earlier list has been revised to exclude rails and sleepers. All other terms and conditions outlined in the original Public Notice No. 54 remain unchanged. S.O. (E): In exercise of the powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures ( Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Public Notice No 54 dated 28.02.2004.
(a) (a) The Serial numbers 347, 458, 459 and 560 of Product Group Engineering are added to the list.
(b) (b) The Serial number 345 in the list as indicated in Public Notice No 54 dated 28.02.2004 shall get substituted as follows:
“Serial Number 345 excluding rails and sleepers”
All other terms and conditions of Public Notice No 54 (RE-03)/ 2002-2007 dated 28.02.2004 shall remain unchanged.
