Public Notice No. 37 (RE-03)/2002-07, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on January 5, 2004, brings amendments to the “Schedule of DEPB Rates.” In the engineering product group (Product Code: 61), the description for export product at Sl. No. 461 has been updated to “Pilfer Proof Caps- Plain/Printed with EP Liner.” Additionally, a new entry has been introduced at Sl. No. 585, specifying “All Aluminium Alloy Conductor” with a DEPB rate of 10.00% and no cap on DEPB entitlement. This amendment is made under the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07, in the interest of public policy, ensuring clarity and updated provisions for exporters.

NEW DELHI : THE 5TH, JANUARY, 2004

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07 and paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following addition/correction / amendment in the book titled “Schedule of DEPB Rates”.

Product Group : Engineering Product Code : 61

The description of the export product at Sl.No. 461 amended to read as:-

“Pilfer Proof Caps- Plain/Printed with EP Liner”.

After the existing entry at Sl.No.584, the following new entry is inserted :-
