The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), via Public Notice No. 35(RE-2005)/2004-09 dated July 28, 2005, introduced amendments to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the FTP, the notice includes the addition of details for Worldwide Logistic, Survey and Inspection (WLSI) Group and Affiliates to Appendix 5 of the Handbook.
The listed additions include WLSI’s New Delhi office, with contact details, and its Sydney office in Australia. These updates aim to provide stakeholders with relevant inspection and survey service options for trade activities. This amendment took effect upon issuance and was made in the public interest to streamline foreign trade operations and compliance processes.
