NOTIFICATION No. 54 (RE-2006) / 2004-2009

NEW DELHI, Dated: 13^th March, 2007

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under:

“Condition No. 18 of Chapter 1A (General Notes Regarding Import Policy) notified vide Notification No.2 (RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 7.4.2006 will not apply to import of Soyabean Oil till 31.12.2007. ”

This is in continuation to earlier Notification No. 21 (RE-2006) /2004-2009 dated 20^th July, 2006.

This issues in public interest.
