NOTIFICATION No. 43 (RE-2008)/2004-2009
New Delhi, Dated the 23rd September 2008
S.O (E) – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 (as amended from time to time), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in Foreign Trade Policy RE2006 and RE2007:
1. The following sentence is added at the end of paragraph 3.12.8 of FTP RE2007:-
“However, for VKGUY, FMS and FPS, benefits can be claimed either by the supporting manufacturer (along with disclaimer from the company / firm who has realized the foreign exchange directly from overseas) or by the company / firm who has realized the foreign exchange directly from overseas.”
2. The following is added as paragraphs 3.8.2.3, 3.9.2.4, 3.10.2.4 in FTP RE2006:-
“However, benefits can be claimed either by the supporting manufacturer (along with disclaimer from the company / firm who has realized the foreign exchange directly from overseas) or by the company / firm who has realized the foreign exchange directly from overseas.”
This issues in Public Interest.
