The Government of India issued Notification No. 24 (RE-2004)/(2004-2009) on February 21, 2005, through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.1, 2.1, 2.4 and 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government in partial modification of this Department’s Notification No. 12/(2004-2009) dated 21.12.2004 hereby notifies that the provisions contained therein shall come into effect from 1st June,2005.
