NOTIFICATION No. 20 (RE-2008)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED 01st July, 2008

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Para 1.4 under Chapter-1A of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09 (as amended from time to time), as under:

2. After Para 1.4, Para4A shall be inserted in Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09, to read as:-

“The earlier Public Notices, Policy Circulars, Notifications or Decisions will also be deemed to be in force as if promulgated under the current policy to the extent they are not inconsistent with the provisions of the present policy and procedure.”
