NOTIFICATION NO. 17 (RE-98)/1997-2002

NEW DELHI, THE 1st September, 1998

S.O. (E) : In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade Development & Regulation Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 13.4.1998), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendment made upto 13.4.1998).

In the Paragraph 6.5(v) of EXIM Policy for 1997-2002 (RE : 98) after second sentence, in the seventh line, the following may be added:

“However, exports made against any EPCG licence shall not be added up for calculating the average export performance for the purpose of the subsequent EPCG licence”.

2. This issues in public interest.
