S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 :

After the third sentence in paragraph 4.1.13, the following sentence is inserted :

The State Trading Enterprises are also allowed to sell the goods on high sea sale basis to the Advance Licence holders.

This issues in Public interest.
