NOTIFICATION NO. 03 (RE-2007)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED THE Ist MAY 2007

S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment with immediate effect in Para 3 of Notification No.45(RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 9.2.2007 to include the following sentences at the end of the said paragraph:

“The export of SMP under ITC(HS) Code – 04021010 to the extent of 300 MT to Nepal by NCCF as per the work order given by the Ministry of External Affairs and 50 MT to Bhutan on humanitarian considerations is exempted from the restrictions imposed through this Notification.

Any issue regarding the discharge of existing export obligations will be examined on case by case basis.”
