NOTIFICATION NO. 11 (RE-2003)/2002-2007
NEW DELHI DATED THE 22 MAY , 2003
S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.1 and 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007 the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2002-2007.
2. In addition to eight (8) designated State Trading Enterprises already notified vide Notification No. 50 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 22.3.2002, it has been decided to further designate the following agencies as State Trading Enterprises for export of onion with immediate effect:
i. West Bengal Essential Commodities Supply Corporation (WBECSC) Ltd., Kolkata
ii. MP State Agro Industries Development Corporation (MPSAIDC), Bhopal
iii. Karnataka State Produce Processing and Export Corporation (KAPPEC), Bangalore
3.The existing terms and conditions as applicable to other notified State Trading Enterprises shall also be applicable in respect of these agencies.
