Subject: Regarding last date for submission of applications for claiming benefits under DFCE under Exim Policy 2003-04

Attention is invited to Policy Circular No. 23/2004-2009 dated 17.3.2005 according to which last date for submission of applications for claiming DFCE credit under Exim Policy 2003-04 was specified as three months from the date of issue of Public Notice notifying Appendix 17D for the period 2003-04.

2. Attention is also invited to Policy Circular No. 2 (RE-2005)/2004-2009 dated 20th April, 2005 vide which RLAs were advised not to accept any application for grant of DFCE under Exim Policy 2003-04.

3. Since Appendix 17D for DFCE under Exim Policy 2003-04 is being revisited, in view of representations from the trade and industry, it is clarified that the last date of submission of applications for claiming benefits under above scheme shall be 90 days from the date the said revised Appendix 17D is notified afresh.

4. This issues with the approval of competent authority.
