DGFT issued a public notice, numbered 16/2023 DGFT, on June 21, 2023. The notice announces the modification of SION E-121, which relates to the export of Refined Soyabean Oil (Edible grade). Under the amended SION E-121, the export item remains as Refined Soyabean Oil (Edible grade), with a specified FFA (Free Fatty Acid) content not exceeding 0.25%. The quantity of the export item is stated as 1 metric ton.

The amendment primarily focuses on revising the import entitlements associated with SION E-121. The original import item, Crude Soyabean Oil (Edible Grade), now has an amended quantity of 1.02 metric tons. Additionally, the quantities of Caustic Lye (48% Lye), Phosphoric acid, Citric acid, and TONSIL Bleaching earth have also been adjusted.

It is important to note that specific conditions must be met at the time of import for the item at S.No. 1 (Crude Soyabean Oil). These conditions include ranges for FFA, Phosphorus, Moisture, and Insoluble volatiles, ensuring the import adheres to certain quality standards.

F.No. 01/85/171/00008/AM20/ DES.VI.- In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade makes the following amendment in SION E-121:

Effect to this Public Notice: Standard Input Output Norm (SION) E-121 for export of Refined Soyabean Oil (edible grade) has been amended with revised import entitlements.
