  1. Ranjit Bag says:

Seems the concerned officers forgot to inform under which section can they confiscate the cash? Perhaps this is a tactics to divert attention by officers who are corrupt themselves. However there are no powers in customs act to issue such frivolous Public Notice

  2. Devaguptapu Sukumar says:

Please inform the IT, intelligence and have the unscrupulous importers be fully investigated. We — the people are the ones who should be punished. Also audit the imports clearances — if there is any wrong-doing penalize the importers heavily.

  3. these type of policies will not control bribe, now a days all dealing happening in sitting Hotels, Bars & Restaurants and on line, hawala is also dominating bank transactions, instead releasing such notifications govt instating govt officials every year to declare personal assets and he declared false, some times he goes make exceed expenses over income on particular year assessing officer needs to interrogate govt officials

  4. Devaguptapu Sukumar says:

Salute and Hats Off !! You are real Indian..! We know the compulsions and efforts of the Government to keep the system clean. Please introduce incentives for Customs Staff so that they can work to earn income in the correct manner, at the same time, strictly punish/dismiss staff who are indulging in incorrect practices.
