Notification No. 99/2006-Customs (N.T)

Date: 5th  September, 2006.

S.O.  (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of    section 4 and sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Tuticorin   and   authorises him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed,  to act as,  –

(i) Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Nhava Sheva, District Raigad, Mumbai and

(ii) Joint Commissioner of Customs,  Mumbai Sea Port, Mumbai.

for the purposes of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to  M/s. Suman Design (India), No.B-1, Sector 20, Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and others issued, vide, DRI. F.No. 50D/42/2005-CI, dated the 19th June, 2006 by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, ‘D’ Block, I.P. Bhawan, 7th Floor, I.P. Estate, New Delhi.
