Notification No. 56/2015-Customs (N.T.)

New Delhi, dated the 4th June, 2015

S.O.(E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs Chennai- IV to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-

(i)  the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs, Chennai IV;

(ii)   the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs, Nhava Sheva-IV;

(iii) the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs, ICD, Tughlakabad (Export), Tughlakabad;

(iv) the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex (Export), New Customs House, New Delhi;

(v) the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs, Chennai-VII Air Cargo;

(vi) the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs, Hyderabad Commissionerate; and

(vii) the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs, Kolkata (Port), for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice  pertaining to M/s   ITC Limited, Virginia House, 37, J.L. Nehru Road, Kolkata issued vide F.No. DRI/AZU/INV-41/2013/3342, dated the 18th December, 2014 by the Additional Director General, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad  ZonalUnit, Ahmedabad.
