Notification No. 53/2008-Customs (N.T.)

New Delhi, the  29th  May, 2008

S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Export), JNCH, Nhava Sheva, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on

(i)  the Commissioner of Customs, (General and CFS Mulund); and

(ii) the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Mumbai

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice  pertaining to M/s Pradeepkumar Nirmalkumar, Block No. 160, Plot No. 16/2/, At/Po.-Pipodara, Ta-Mangrol, District-Surat issued, vide, F.N. DRI/AZU/INV-06/2005/PKNK, dated the 9th August, 2007, by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
