Notification No. 35/2007-Customs (N.T)

 dated the 26th April 2007 

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Tuticorin, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on,

(i) the Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai;

(ii) the Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Chennai;

(iii) the Commissioner of Central Excise and Customs, Coimbatore; and

(iv) the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Cochin;

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s Fulchand and Sons, Tirupur issued, vide, F.No.INV/DGCEI/CBERU/7/2005, dated the 20th June 2006, by the Deputy Director, Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence, Regional Unit, 386-A, Pankaj Mill Road, First Floor, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore – 641045.
