G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Principal Chief Commissioner of Central Excise or Chief Commissioner of Central Excise to be the Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs or Chief Commissioner of Customs for the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Principal Commissioner of Central Excise or Commissioner of Central Excise as specified under rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002.
