Notification No. 09/2013-Customs (N.T.)

New Delhi, dated the 24th January, 2013.

S.O.    (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby imposes on the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs (Port-Import), 33, Rajaji Salai, Custom House, Chennai, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on –

(i) the Joint  or  Additional Commissioner of Customs (Port-Import), 33, Rajaji Salai, Custom House, Chennai;

(ii) the Joint  or  Additional Commissioner of Customs, Chennai Airport and Air Cargo, Integrated Cargo Complex, Meenambakkam, Chennai;     and

(iii) the Joint or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Strand Road, Kolkata,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Surgiplus, College Square, Cuttack (Orissa), issued vide, F. No. DRI/AZU/INV-72/2009/446-450, dated the 10th July, 2012, by the Joint Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
