The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) has issued an urgent circular (F.No. CHIC-15012/9/2025-ICD-CBEC) requesting nominations for the inaugural India-EU P2P-U.S. Strategic Trade Control (STC) Advanced Licensing and Enforcement Exchange (ALEE), scheduled for December 10–11, 2025, in Brussels. The event is a collaboration between the European Union Partner-to-Partner Export Control Programme for Dual-Use Goods (EU P2P) and the United States’ Export Controls and Border Security Program (EXBS). The circular directs Pr. Chief Commissioners and Chief Commissioners of Customs, Customs (Preventive), and GST and Customs to submit one officer’s name for participation. Eligible officers must be ranked from Assistant Commissioner to Additional Commissioner and be highly knowledgeable in Strategic Trade Control (STC) and export controls. The nomination package must include the officer’s CV and a note explaining the relevance of their participation and past work experience. All nominations are to be treated as “MOST URGENT” and must be submitted by October 17, 2025.

2. In this regard, it is requested to send an officer’s nomination, who is well conversant with Strategic Trade Control (STC) /export controls related matters along with the relevance of his/her participation and CV detailing the past work experiences, not later than 17th October, 2025 for further necessary action.
3. Applications are invited from officers in the rank of Assistant Commissioner to Additional Commissioner.
