The Commissioner of Customs (General) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House (JNCH), Nhava Sheva, has issued a public notice rescinding JNCH Public Notice No. 101/2024 dated November 22, 2024. This earlier notice pertained to the transshipment of export cargo from Bangladesh to third countries via Nhava Sheva Port by rail or road, following Circular No. 29/2020-Customs dated June 22, 2020. The current public notice, dated April 9, 2025, follows CBIC Circular No. 13/2025-Customs dated April 8, 2025, which decided to withdraw Circular No. 29/2020-Customs with immediate effect. However, cargo already in India can exit as per the procedures outlined in the rescinded circular and public notice. Consequently, JNCH Public Notice No. 101/2024 is withdrawn immediately. Any implementation difficulties should be reported to the ADC/JC, SCMTR, JNCH.

Attention of the Exporters/Customs Brokers/Steamer Agents/Terminals, Trade and all other stakeholders is invited to Circular No. 29/2020-Customs dated 22.06.2020 and JNCH Public Notice No. 101/2024 dated 22.11.2024 regarding Transshipment of movement of export cargo from Bangladesh to third Countries from Nhava Sheva Port by Rail or Road vide Circular No. 29/2020-Customs dated 22.06.2020.
2. Attention is further invited to the CBIC Circular No. 13/2025-Customs dated 08.04.2025 wherein it has been decided to rescind the Circular No. 29/2020-Customs dated 29.06.2020 as amended with immediate effect. And, the cargo already entered into India may be allowed to exit the India territory as per procedure given in Circular No. 29/2020-Customs dated 22.06.2020 and JNCH PN No. 101/2024 dated 22.11.2024.
3. Accordingly, Public Notice No. 101/2024 dated 22.11.2024 issued by JNCH in this regard stands withdrawn with immediate effect.
4. Any difficulties in the implementation of this module may be brought to the notice of ADC/JC, SCMTR, INCH.
