Seeks to rescind the countervailing duty (CVD) imposed on imports of Certain Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Flat Products originating in or exported from China PR which was imposed by vide Notification No. 1/2017- Cus (CVD) dated 07.09.2017.
CBIC notifies Notification No. 1/2022-Customs (CVD) dated 1st February, 2022 to give effect to above Changes as prescribed vide Union Budget 2022-23 i.e. Finance Bill 2022.

G.S.R.92(E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (6) of section 9 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rules 20 and 22 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Countervailing Duty on Subsidized Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No. 1/2017- Cus (CVD) dated 07.09.2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 1137(E), dated the 7th September, 2017, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
