New Delhi, the 3rd January, 2019

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 76 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.208/1977-Customs, dated the 1st October, 1977, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 1318, dated the 1st October, 1977, namely:-

In the said notification, in paragraph 2, in condition (ii), for the words “Jaigaon, Moreh or Nepalgunj Road”, the words “Jaigaon, Moreh, Nepalgunj Road or Barhni” shall be substituted.

Note:- The principal notification No.208/77-Customs, dated the 1st October, 1977 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 1318, dated the 1st October, 1977 and was last amended vide notification No.101/2013-Customs (N.T.), dated the 27th September, 2013, vide number G.S.R . 2936(E), dated the 27th September, 2013.
