Notification No. 45/2009-Customs (N.T.)

 New Delhi, the 6th May, 2009.

S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendment in the notification number 94/2008-Customs(N.T.), dated 25th July, 2008 published in the Gazette of India Part II section 3 sub-Section (ii), vide number S.O. 1853 (E) dated the 25th July, 2008, of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) namely:-

In the said notification,-

(i)  in the Preamble, for the words “Commissioner of Customs (Import), Customs House, Chennai”, the word “Commissioner of Customs (Export), Custom House, 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai” shall be substituted;

(ii) in serial No. (iv), for the words “Commissioner of Customs (Import, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva”, the words “Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Port: Uran, Dist-Raigad” shall be substituted; and

(iii) in serial No. (v), for the words “Commissioner of Customs (Import), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai”, the words “Commissioner of Customs (Export Promotion), New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai” shall be substituted.
