Notification No. 46/2006-Customs
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-item (6) of the description of goods of heading 9801 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, having regard to the economic development of the country, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 42/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996 [G.S.R. 294(E), dated the 23rd July, 1996], for notifying the National Automotive Testing and Research and Development Infrastructure Project, namely:-
In the said notification, after serial No. 33 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
“34. National Automotive Testing and Research and Development Infrastructure Project (NATRIP).”.

Note.– The principal notification No. 42/96-Customs, dated the the 23rd July, 1996 was published in the Gazette of India vide number G.S.R. 294 (E), dated the the 23rd July, 1996 and was last amended vide notification No. 18/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 vide number G.S.R. 90(E), dated the 1st March, 2006.
