Vishal Agarwal Vs Union of India (Supreme Court of India)
Supreme Court has granted bail to Vishal Agarwal in Bail Application No. 52 of 2024, despite opposition from the Additional Solicitor General. Citing these factors, the Supreme Court deemed further incarceration unnecessary, directing his release on conditions set by the Trial Court. No specific judicial precedents were cited in the provided text.
FULL TEXT OF THE SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT/ORDER
(Arising out of impugned final judgment and order dated 12-09-2024 in SBCRMBA No. 4259/2024 passed by the High Court Of Judicature For Rajasthan At Jaipur)
1. This is a petition seeking bail.
2. Ms. Archana Pathak Dave, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent has vehemently opposed the petition. She submits that the petitioner is involved in the crime which has resulted in a huge loss to the public exchequer.
3. Taking into consideration the fact that the chargesheet has been filed and the entire evidence is documentary in nature, we do not find that any further incarceration of the petitioner is necessary.
4. In that view of the matter, we are inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
