The Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has adjusted the effective date for penalties related to delayed Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) submissions. Originally set for March 1, 2025, the implementation of these penalties, which impose a Rs. 5,000/- per quarter fine for continued delays, will now take effect on May 1, 2025. This revision comes after representations from CREDAI and promoters citing hardships. The official order, dated April 2, 2025, from Registrar Richhpal Singh Kuthari, clarifies that no further extensions will be granted beyond the revised date. The order has been distributed to various stakeholders, including RERA officials, real estate developer associations, and related professional bodies, for compliance and information dissemination. Promoters are directed to adhere to the revised timeline to avoid penalties.

Order No.: F1(31)RNIZERA/Authority Meeting/2019/328 Dated: 2-4-2025

As per Authority Order No. F1(31) RJ/ RERA/ Authority Meeting/ 2019/162 dated 24.02.2025, an additional penalty was imposed for delays in submitting the Quarterly Progress Report (QPR). Initially, after the first quarter of delay, a penalty of Rs. 5,000/- per quarter was levied for each successive quarter until the QPR was submitted. The said order was originally set to take effect from 01.03.2025.

However, considering the hardships represented by CREDAI and promoters, the effective date of the said order has now been revised to 01.05.2025. No further extensions will be granted beyond this date.

For compliance, all concerned parties are advised to adhere to the revised timeline.
